Spring is here!
With the temperatures rising and water temps starting to approach 70 the fishing starts to heat up.
With the last few weeks of good weather we have seen increasing numbers of King Mackerels and even more impressive, Black Fin Tuna.
Here in the approaching weeks we will also start seeing the Cobia making their appearance as well as the spanish mackerel.
Destin Fl, is called “The Luckiest Fishing Village on Earth” and is absolutely gorgeous in the spring time. The weather is beautiful and we have the privilege of fishing some calm weather.
The great thing about fishing in Destin Fl in the spring is there is something to catch no matter what the conditions. If its too bumpy to go out in the gulf and pull on a King or Cobia, the sheepshead and redfish will be coming alive at the bridges and docks. Sheepshead make excellent table fair if I might add and is one of Captain Jaysons favorite targets this time of year.
